Hero Lip Balm from BreezeBalm

Press Sample (Unaffiliated Links)

I am a lip balm fanatic, and have them stowed in pockets, drawers, travel bags, purses, glove boxes, and just about anywhere that you can think of. It's not that I have perpetually dry, chapped lips, but instead that I like to moisturize them in the same way that I do my face and body. I recently discovered Hero Lip Balm by BreezeBalm, which has a very rich, remarkably emollient and ultra-hydrating formula that keeps lips unbelievably soft, smooth and supple. Hero has a vanilla aroma, but it isn't in the least bit overpowering.

Created in New Zealand, and made in Australia, the formula was adapted from a recipe that founder, Sammy Leo's, grandfather and father made for the customers at their family pharmacy. Dubbed the "little pot of gold", Sammy decided to create her own variant of her family recipe when they closed their pharmacy in 2014. BreezeBalm is a cruelty-free brand, but their lip balms contain lanolin, and beeswax, and therefore they are not vegan. They ethically source their lanolin from sheep's wool, and no animals were harmed in its making.

  1. I'm crazy about Pineapple Passion and I normally don't like scented items. It's helping me to stop biting my lips too.
