Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Lip Liner in So Mod | Review and Swatches #RodinOlioLusso

 Purchased (Affiliate Links)

Rodin Olio Lusso has long been one of my favorite beauty brands, and spending an afternoon with Linda Rodin made me love her, and her products all the more.
When I finished up my beloved, and highly coveted, Rodin Olio Lusso Jasmine and Neroli Luxury Face Oil (Reviewed HERE) I immediately sought to replace it, and I also wanted to pick up the Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Lip Liner in So Mod to match my Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Lipstick in So Mod (Reviewed HERE).
Rodin Olio Lusso Luxury Lip Liner in So Mod, a nude yet rosy pink, is an absolute perfect match to its companion lipstick. This lip liner boasts a wonderfully creamy texture that neither tugs on the lips, nor does it dry them out. While the texture is emollient and creamy, thanks to the inclusion of Linda's signature Rodin Olio Lusso Jasmine and Neroli Luxury Face Oil in this lip liner, it isn't so emollient that it lacks longevity. It glides across the lips effortlessly, deposits color evenly, and it neither bleeds, nor flakes. It offers opaque coverage in a single pass, and it leaves lips soft, supple and hydrated. This is unquestionably my current favorite lip liner formula.

Tip: For even longer wear, rather than just lining the lips, fill them in with their liner as well, and then top it off with the lipstick.
According to Rodin Olio Lusso,

Enriched with RODIN olio lusso’s signature jasmine and neroli oils, the long chic wooden pencil makes application a cinch, and the color draws on in a smooth, continuous motion.

Linda’s nod to her Twiggy moments in the Mod 1960’s and her simultaneous infatuation with Bridget Bardot. So Mod is a nude yet rosy pink that evokes another look with the same impact as the other shades but in a very different way: Linda knows the power of a change up and So Mod was invented for these moments.

  3. This is the perfect color. I'd love the lipstick and liner if the lipstick wasn't scented.

    1. It really is, Marcia! There is no discernible scent to the lipstick or liner. You would have no problem with either.
