As NYC New York Color suggests, "Just twist, glide and go!" If you love the convenience of quick and easy-to-use cream shadows with tremendous staying power, then these beauties really deliver. While I have not tested their 24 hour wear claims, I will say that once this formula sets it really does stay put. These cream eye shadows effortlessly glide across the lids depositing color evenly without incident. I was able to achieve all-day wear without a primer, but if you have oily eyelids you will may want to use a primer– though it is doubtful that you will actually need to.

  1. For some reason I've never felt drawn to NYC as a brand. Guess I'll have to give 'em a chance some time.

  11. I love the lippies in the same packaging so I'm definitely wanting to find these and check out at least one shade. The colors look great for a quick smoky eye... or just in general and I think I could get away with wear on my waterline. Thanks for sharing - I haven't seen or heard that these have come out yet.

    1. I really want to try those lippies! These are definitely good for a smoky eye or a wash of color and run out the door in a rush! They also work well as eyeliners too! I wore Empire State Building in my lower lash line yesterday and it lasted all day on me. That one has some shimmer so I wouldn't put it on my waterline because I have sensitive eyes. I think that you should definitely check these out!
