Sun Bum PRO SPF 30+ Face Stick means serious business when it comes to sun protection for those who need a hard working sunscreen that will stay put and protect them while they play hard in the water and the sun. This is a go-to sunscreen for serious surfers, and my husband and his friends coveted this supremely effective face stick on their recent 2 week long surf trip to Indonesia.

According to Sun Bum,

We developed our PRO line for the days that we live for. Our premium, mineral based sunscreen is specifically designed to offer the very best broad spectrum protection to those who work and play hard in the sun. It will never bleed into your eyes, never make your hands slippery, and won't come off during the most rigorous activities in the water, wind, or blazing hot sun.

Sun Bum PRO is used and trusted by many lifeguard and beach rescue organizations throughout the U.S., including the Hawaiian Water Patrol, the North Shore Lifeguard Association, and the Eastern Surfing Association.

My husband has been testing out the Pro 30+ Face Stick while surfing and has been very pleased by its efficacy, texture and the overall excellent quality.

Accordingly he observed,

Sun Bum Pro SPF 30+ Face Stick goes on really smooth. The first time that I used it I didn't put enough on and it was gone before I got out of water. The second time I put more on and it was still on my face after two hours in the water on a sunny day. Goes on a faint shade of white unlike others so its not as obvious, and this is a feature that I really like.
The packaging is very convenient, compact, and ergonomically designed-- making it perfect to slip into the pocket of surfing shorts.
After multiple passes on my arm one can only just barely detect any white pigmentation. I ran my arm through water and the sunscreen did not budge in the least bit. It was only after washing with soap and water that I was able to remove the sunscreen from my arm.
Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, Immediately after towel drying, At least every 2 hours.

Ingredients: Zinc Oxide 7.00%, Titanium Dioxide 4.00%, Homosalate 7.00%, Octocrylene 7.50%, Octinoxate 7.50%. Adipic Acid/Diethylene Glycol /Glycerin Crosspolymer, Alumina, Beeswax, Ceteareth-20, Cetearyl Alcohol, Dimethicone, Ethylhelxyl Palmitate, Methicone, Ozokerite, Parrafin Wax, Tocopherol, Trimethoxycaprylylsilane, VP/Eiocosene Copolymer.
Overall assessment: A+ protection when you need it the most. This is not intended as a daily sunscreen to be worn under makeup, but instead is a serious sunscreen for people playing and exercising in the sun. If you need reliable sun protection that won't wear away from excessive sweating or water exposure-- then this product is definitely a logical choice.
