The month of June brings with it warmer weather and dreams of lounging on the beach, and Beautybox 5 created a box that focused on effortless iconic hot weather basics.
Box Contents:
1) Nicka K New York Nail Color in NY139 Ripe Apple (Full Size. Retail $4.99 for 0.5 oz.): NY139 Ripe Apple is a super gorgeous deep, sexy blue-based red. It boasts fuss-free elegance, and is sure to thrill everyone seeking a classic iconic red nail polish!

According to Nicka K,
Reformulated and Redesigned. Nicka K New York introduces a professional collection of nail lacquer - our Nail Colors - the answer to every manicurist's dreams. These quality polishes come in 58 on-trend variations, and are available in opaque, sheer, shimmer, bright and vampy shades. Our new and improved professional DBP, Toluene and added formaldehyde free lacquer easily glides across nails for a picture perfect polished finish. 2) Organix Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner (Sample Packets. Retail $7.99 for 13 oz.): I love everything about Coconut Water, and am very excited about trying Organix Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner. My only complaint is that I am not a huge fan of sample packets because they are not terribly travel friendly unless they are single use packets. I would have preferred small sample bottles that I could throw in my travel bag.

Drench your dehydrated strands in this ultra-light blend of weightless hydrating coconut water, supercharged with nutrient rich electrolytes and combined with coconut oil to transform dry, parched hair into silky shiny perfection.

Both the shampoo and conditioner were formulated to replenish and rejuvenate "dehydrated strands with a residue free formula for weightless hydration and shine!" Additionally, they are safe for color-treated hair. #ogx

3) Glam Natural Mascara (Deluxe Sample. Retail $28.00 0.25 oz.): I have sensitive eyes, and this mascara is filled with lots of great ingredients, and is supposed to be the perfect companion for those among us with sensitive eyes!

According to Glam Natural,

Our eco-mascara in classic black. Mascara is the key to every woman's makeup regimen. This ever-important tool meets the strict BodySafe standard. It is vegan, paraben free, and will give you gorgeous wide-eyed look you crave. #glamnatural

However, once it hits the warm water in the shower the scent explodes-- it makes for one deliciously scented shower!

According to Vitabath,

A truly sudsy, bubbly shower experience! Overall assessment: The June box has a lovely selection of fuss-free products, and I'm pleased with the contents. I would, however, have preferred that the sample packets were resealable sample tubes instead-- that way they would travel easily.

  1. I agree, it's a really nice box, but I also prefer minis over sample packets.

    1. Sample packets seem to multiply in my drawer filled with samples at night. They can just be so messy, and they need to be used so fast or end up needing to be tossed since they get exposed to air and spoil. If companies would make them resealable that would be better, but I still really prefer the little tubes! Have a great weekend! :-)
