My experience: Given that Amazônia Preciosa Cupuaçu Revitalizing Hair Mask was primarily made with normal and straight hair in mind, I assumed that it might to a marginal job addressing the needs of my dry naturally curly hair, but that simply was not the case- at all. The first time that I used this beautifully nutty smelling hair mask, I left it on for about 10-15 minutes, and when I rinsed it out my hair felt deeply nourished. I was able to comb out my hair without incident and then allowed my hair to dry naturally in order to see how my hair would respond. My hair dried into perfectly formed curls, and it was soft and shiny. The second time that I used this mask I decided to leave it in my hair for two hours in order to use it as a deep treatment mask- the end result was amazing! My hair was left soft, luminous, shiny, and with structured bouncy curls- it was nothing short of miraculous that something designed for normal and straight hair (which hardly describes my tresses) could make my curly hair look and feel so beautiful, healthy, hydrated, and silky. Not only is this a highly effective and nourishing mask, but it only contains good and proven safe ingredients. This is an excellent cruelty free product from an amazing company with a deep and abiding interest in social and environmental responsibility!

Overall assessment: An amazing hair mask! While it was formulated for normal and straight hair- it makes my curly hair look and feel amazing. Truth be told, if this works on my hair- it will probably work on just about everybody! This is a wonderful product from a wonderful company, and it is well worth your attention. Cruelty free!
