Each month BB5 curates a theme-based beauty box that features five products that range from full-size to samples. The April box, with its Stay Golden theme, features four full size products, and one deluxe sample. I should note that I received my April BB5 box in May, and therefore cannot guarantee that there are any left in stock.

The April Box theme and contents:

Jean Pierre Vitamin-C Sheet Mask (Contains 1 Mask. Set of 5 Masks Retail $12.99): This brightening and hydrating mask contains Vitamin C to lighten dark spots and brighten the complexion. Simply apply it to cleansed skin for 15 minutes, and then remove it. #jeanpierre

BB5 Highlight Fan Brush (Full Size. Retail $12.00): If you love to use highlighters, and want to have a brush that gives it a diffused look, then a fan brush is the perfect choice! #beautybox5

Be a Bombshell Blush (Full Size. Retail $6.00): These highly pigmented blushes can also be used as bronzers, and the shade that I received, Tanorexic, is definitely a bronzer more than a blush. #beabombshell

Sweep Rose Gold Lash Curler (Full Size. Retail $15.99): These are really sturdy lash curlers that effortlessly curl lashes without any pinching or discomfort.#sweepbeauty

Did Hair Gold Bobby Pins (Full Size. Retail $8.50): These gold bobby pins are very sturdy, and the great golden hue is a nice way for a pop of metallic flair, while keeping your hair out of your face, or your up-do up! #didhair

Overall Assessment: The April box is a great value, and it by far exceeds the $12.00 price of admission!

This turban absorbs water quickly and efficiently, and it keeps your hair out of your face for skincare and makeup application. #happybrands

Go Smile Teeth Whitening Gel (Deluxe Sample. Full Size $29.00): This is a favorite with the BB5 staff because it is so easy to use and gives great results You simply apply equal parts of this gel and your favorite toothpaste to a dry toothbrush and brush for 2 minutes twice a day. They claim that it doesn't add any more time to your morning and evening toothbrushing routine, and that it delivers real results. I can't wait to give it a go! #gosmile

Be a Bombshell Smooth Criminal HD Finishing Powder (Full Size. $7.00):This translucent HD powder is formulated for all skin types, and can be used to set your foundation for longer wear, and to mattify skin, and even out the complexion. It has a gorgeous velvety texture, and can easily be used for touch-ups. BB5 Tip: Dip and tap brush before applying. I don't usually use HD finishing powders, but I will definitely give this one a try. #beabombshellcosmetics

Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer SPF 30 (Deluxe Sample. Full Size $55.00):  I am always looking for high quality sunscreens, and am very pleased to have this to test out.

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes (Deluxe Sample. Full Size $5.99): I love facial wipes, and use them all of the time. They are so handy for removing makeup, and this deluxe sample packet is perfect for travel. I look forward to testing these out!

Here's what's inside the box:

1) Elizabeth Mott Tints & Sass Lip + Cheek Stain (Deluxe Sample. Full size $22.99 for 0.35 oz.): This is a cherry red lip and cheek stain that reminds me of Benefit Benetint in application and color. I have yet to use it on my cheeks or lips, but it did show impressive wear-time with my arm swatch. #elizabethmott

Overall Assessment: Three of the five products in this box are full-sized, and even the deluxe samples offer a generous amount of product. WHile I like everything this month, I am especially happy about trying the Harvey Prince Sincerely Mini Roller.
