This COVID pandemic has wrought serious havoc on my poor hands. They have been subjected to an incalculable number of hand-washings in a day– not to mention copious amounts of hand sanitizers. Therefore, my hands are often left dry and chapped– requiring lots of hand cream to calm and soothe my skin. As you already know, I am a huge fan of the lovely skincare products from Mustela, and while this brand is known for its gentle baby skincare products, and for the treatment of Eczema, their products are suitable for everyone in the family. Lately I have been using Mustela Stelatopia Emollient Balm for Extremely Dry Skin because it is the perfect antidote for ultra dry over-washed hands. It is lightweight, emollient, ultra moisturizing, very healing and it is fragrance free.
According to Mustela,

Mustela’s Stelatopia Emollient Balm is a daily balm that works to replenish, soothe, and restore your little one’s lipid-depleted, eczema-prone skin, keeping your baby happy, healthy, and itch-free. Our Stelatopia Emollient Balm is specifically designed for extremely dry and eczema-prone skin and is gentle and effective for newborns, babies, toddlers, and older children. Our balm moisturizes, replenishes, and soothes skin while restoring and protecting your little one’s damaged skin barrier. The rich, occlusive texture is easy to apply, penetrates quickly, and is ideal for nighttime use to keep your little one comfortable while they sleep. Additionally, it delivers soothing hydration, which helps relieve irritation, itching, and discomfort.

Mustela’s Stelatopia Emollient Balm’s fragrance-free formula is enriched with a blend of naturally derived ingredients, such as Avocado Perseose, a patented nutrient that helps protect delicate skin, Sunflower Oil Distillate to soothe and moisturize, and plant-based Caranuba Wax, which leaves a protective layer on your baby’s skin.

Proven Safe When you use Mustela’s Stelatopia Emollient Balm on your baby’s skin, you can rest assured that it is:

* Paraben-free
* Phthalate-free

  1. I'm confused by how much I need to wash my hands considering I'm not going out much. If I leave the house then for sure I'm washing and sanitizing. But what about just being home? No matter what I need hand cream and I like that this is fragrance free.

    1. I know what you mean, I wash my hands all of the time now, and I am not going out. However, since we are receiving packages, going to the grocery store every week or two and receiving mail, I wash my hands a lot since things from the outside world are making their way into the house. We do quarantine packages and mail, and then disinfect them, and we do disinfect our groceries, but I definitely wash my hands a lot as a result.
