The Nubian Heritage Mango Butter Collection is Delectable!

I love Nubian Heritage products because they are effective, they smell delicious (though they have unscented products too), they are affordable and they are cruelty-free. However, their Mango Butter Collection is so delectable that from the moment I opened the hand cream it was clear to me that this collection was my favorite by far. The aroma is absolutely glorious, and it smells like a creamsicle on a warm summer day.
Nubian Heritage Mango Butter Hand Cream ($9.99 for 4 oz. from Nubian Heritage and The Vitamin Shoppe): This is a wonderful mid-weight hand cream that melts into the skin quickly and without leaving skin greasy. It is ultra-moisturizing and nourishing, and it does an excellent job softening the skin. The scent is utterly delectable, but it does not linger too long, and therefore won't interfere with other fragrances that you might plan to wear.

According to Nubian Heritage,

Protect hands from the harsh, drying effects of the environment with this moisturizing treatment formulated with tropical ingredients Mango and Orange.

Directions: Squeeze a dime-sized amount of nutrient-rich hand cream into palms and gently massage into dry hands to deep moisturize and protect your skin.

Ingredients: Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter*, Deionized Water, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)*, Stearyl Alcohol (Palm Kernel), Vegetable Emulsifying Wax, Ricinus Communis (Castor) Oil, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter*, Vegetable Glycerin, Jojoba Oil*, Essential Oil Blend, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice*, Orange Oil, Allantoin (Comfrey Root Extract), Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C), Lonicera Caprifolium (Honeysuckle) Flower (and) Lonicera Japonica (Japanese Honeysuckle) Flower Extract.

Nubian Heritage Mango Butter Soap ($4.99 for 5 oz. from Nubian Heritage, The Vitamin Shoppe, iHerb and Jet): This very moisturizing soap creates a rich and creamy lather, and it thoroughly cleans skin without leaving behind a greasy residue. I find it so emollient that I can use it to shave my legs.

According to Nubian Heritage,

Nubian Heritage's tropical Mango Butter Soap is an ultra-moisturizing, cleanser blended with rich and nourishing Mango, Cocoa and Shea Butters to provide supple, rejuvenating moisture for the appearance of firmer, healthier looking skin.

Directions: Apply to washcloth or hands, create rich lather and cleanse. Rinse well. Follow with your favorite Nubian Heritage body lotion or infused butter. Avoid contact with eyes.

Ingredients: Sodium Palmate, Sodium Palm Kernelate, Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Fragrance (Parfum), Butyrosepermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*仫, Sodium Gluconate, Palm Acid, Sodium Chloride, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel, Palm Kernel Acid, Zea Mays (Corn) Kernel Meal, Ascorbic Acid, Honey, Mangifera Indica (Mango) Seed Butter, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter*, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Iron Oxides (CI 77492), Iron Oxides (CI 77499) *Certified Organic Ingredient. 仫Fair Trade Ingredient.

Nubian Heritage Mango Butter 24 Hour Deodorant ($6.99 for 2.25 oz. from Nubian Heritage and The Vitamin Shoppe): If you use natural deodorants, then I definitely recommend trying one from Nubian Heritage. However, if you use mainstream chemical-based antiperspirants and deodorants, then you may not like these. They are decidedly earthy, and they will not control perspiration. Their deodorants are formulated with nourishing ingredients like shea butter and essential oils, and I find them moisturizing as well as effective at controlling under arm odor. I should state, however, that I have been using natural deodorants since high school, so I am in no way weaning myself from mainstream drugstore deodorants and antiperspirants. These are natural, non-GMO deodorants that are truly healthy for the skin.

If you are new to the world of natural deodorants, be aware that sometimes people with sensitive armpits can get rashes, or irritated skin. If that happens, just stop using them. I have pretty sensitive skin under my arms, and this formula doesn't irritate my skin, but I have had some natural deodorants irritate my skin over the years.

I should note that I cannot vouch for Nubian Heritage's 24 hour claim because I never have it on for a full 24 hours, but I can say that I find this formula very effective and long-wearing.

According to Nubian Heritage,

Our 24 Hour Deodorant, containing naturally derived ingredients, is enriched with NON-GMO certified Propanediol, a tested and effective natural deodorant ingredient derived from corn.
Vegetable Glycerin and Shea Butter provide a silky glide. No Aluminum, No Proptlene Glycol, No Parabens, No Triclosan, No Silicones, No Animal Testing.

Ingredients: Propanediol, Glycerin (Vegetable), Water, Sodium Stearate, Silica,Zea Mays (Corn) Starch, Zinc Ricinoleate, Fragrance (Essential Oil Blend), Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter*, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Seed Extract, MangiferaIndica (Mango) Seed Butter, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) SeedButter, Allantoin, Saccharomyces Ferment Filtrate, Polyglyceryl-3 Caprate. *Certified Organic Ingredient Fair Trade Ingredient.
Overall Assessment: Yes, yes, yes!
