I have to confess that I haven't tried anything from Cargo Cosmetics in quite a while, but when last I did I was quite pleased with their products. I always loved the minimalist packaging, and felt that the products themselves were high quality and enjoyable to use. I am pleased to report that the Cargo picks that I have been currently testing live up to my recollections, and they are definitely worth discussing.
Cargo Cosmetics Swimmables Water Resistant Blush in Ibiza ($26.00 for 0.37 oz. from Cargo CosmeticsUltaAmazonDermstore and Nordstrom): This is absolutely my latest blush crush. This sweat-proof formula is water resistant, and yet silky smooth and very finely milled. It glides across the skin effortlessly, deposits color evenly, and it has a beautiful glowing finish that is punctuated by fine shimmer without being in the least bit glittery. Ibiza, which is described as a shimmering hot pink, is a buildable blue-based light to mid-tone pink that is just my kind of shade. My preferred method of application is a light wash of color, and it delivers the appearance of a gorgeous natural glow from within.

Cargo Cosmetics Bronzing Powder in Matte Medium ($29.00 for 0.31 oz. from Cargo CosmeticsUltaAmazonBeauty BayKohl'sNordstrom and Dermstore): This matte bronzer is very finely milled with a silky-smooth texture, and despite its matte finish it neither appears flat, nor in the least bit chalky. In fact, it contains very faint and subtle shimmer that adds dimension to its finish. It glides across the skin effortlessly, deposits color evenly, and it neither oxidizes, nor does it fade quickly. This is the type of bronzer that people who don't wear bronzer, like me most of the time, will enjoy– it offers a sun-kissed glow without looking overdone or unnatural.

According to Cargo Cosmetics,

NO messy brown streaks!! A favorite with professional make-up artists and celebrities, our bronzer glides easily over the skin for a beautiful sun-kissed look. It is available in three beautifully color-balanced shades that work on all skin tones and skin types.
