It offers the perfect introduction to an exemplary line of products, and the gorgeous glass containers are easily refillable. The products are perfect for all skin types, and each one is an unmitigated delight to use. For your convenience, I have linked to my in-depth reviews of each of the products in this travel set below.
According to African Botanics,

Experience South Africa and its beauty - the colours of the earth, raw textures and rare essences in this magnificent travel set. Each cosmetic bag is handwoven by men and women of individual homesteads in rural villages in the Kasaai region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Features a two-week introduction to our African Marula Oil Ritual. Pure Marula Cleansing Oil removes makeup, sunscreen and pollution, while the Mineral Cleansing Mask deeply cleanses and refreshes fatigued skin, providing hydration, vitamins, and energy to your cells. Cold pressed, anti-aging Pure Marula Oil hydrates, softens the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increases skin elasticity, plumps and revitalizes your complexion. Marula Shimmering Gold Oil, light and airy in texture formulated for face, body and hair, captures and reflects the radiant splendour of glimmering African sunsets, beautifying with translucent mother of pearl minerals to illuminate skin and enhance its natural radiance.
Each of these gorgeous cosmetic bags is handwoven by men and women in rural villages in the Kasaai region of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and therefore no two are alike. Traditionally woven textiles, which are never mass produced, are made with great care and attention to detail, and these keepsakes are sure to be treasured by the recipient.
According to African Botanics,

It is a flat weave that is woven from the raffia Vinafera palm which grows wild and is endemic to the tropical region on a double heddle hand loom and takes between 3 and 4 months to weave, mostly for a few hours in the evenings after work in the fields has been done for the day. The symbols are all representative of the makers life and tells the story of birth, marriage, harvest, children, cattle and ceremonies. The purchase of this fabric supports the weavers and artisans of this age old tradition as well as the artisans who make up the finished product in South Africa. All goods are traded and made up following fair trade principles.

  2. This is a nice intro set. Honestly, though, I would not travel with glass containers because of weight and breakage possible pi.

    1. It's definitely a really lovely set. I actually don't mind traveling with small glass containers, but I have also made a concerted effort to try to travel with fewer items because I have learned that I don't use lots of stuff when I travel.
