May Lindstrom Skin Sneak Peek

Press Sample (Unaffiliated Links)

In the last month, or so, I have quite literally received several dozen emails from readers asking me if I could please review the May Lindstrom skincare line, and it just so happened to be the one skincare line that I was the most intrigued by, and the most interested in trying. While this may seem like a complete coincidence, it actually is far from it. The people who were making this request are the very same people who are obsessed with the same skincare lines that I favor, and they use many of my favorites. In truth, it is only logical given that each one of us would gravitate toward May Lindstrom Skin– given our collective penchant for ultra-luxury skincare sans unhealthy ingredients.
Therefore, I am very pleased to let you know that I have just begun testing this gorgeous line, and very much look forward to reviewing these products for you. My first impression: I am blown away by this thoughtfully handcrafted line. The textures, aromas and presentation are outstanding, and this is definitely a highly nourishing line that is best savored.

  1. Looking forward to this review. Surprised you are not trying the oil given your love for them!

    1. I look forward to reviewing the line! This is all of her skincare products, and it includes her oil and oil-based balm. The only product not seen here is the body oil. The oil is quite spectacular! I have only been testing for a couple of days, but am quite impressed so far!

  2. ooo! i can't wait! i have been eyeing a couple of these. you have quite the way of describing things, so i can't wait to hear your take. additionally, i would be especially interested to hear you compare any of these products to other similar ones (e.g. the clean dirt compared to tatcha's polishing rice powder)

I am very excited to be using May Lindstrom products, and so far am very impressed by the luxurious quality, lovely textures, and unbelievable aromas! This is a very special line, indeed! I will begin posting my reviews once I have used everything long enough to write in-depth reviews!

    1. Hi Kirsten, I can't wait to really weigh in on the line! I haven't been this excited to test a new-to-me line in a VERY long time! So far I am really quite impressed, but clearly it is far too early to make any meaningful and in-depth assessments. Blue Cocoon is INSANELY amazing though! :-)

  5. I am revisiting some of your reviews since the Barney's event is coming around again soon. So...could you make a comparison between this line and Tatcha please? Thank you, Helen!

    1. It's definitely time to start thinking about what's going on the BNY shopping list! Wow, that's a pretty impossible comparison to make since they are such different lines and products. May Lindstrom is a much smaller line with far fewer products, it is hand-crafted by May in micro-batches. It's an organic, wild-crafted and Bio-Dynamic line that is very earthy in its character. TATCHA has far more products, and is inspired by Geisha skincare from Japan. Both lines are ultra-luxurious, and filled with high quality ingredients, but they are fundamentally so different from one another that they defy an apples to apples comparison. That said, they are both among my all-time favorite lines. With May Lindstrom it is much more of an obvious botanical skincare experience than with TATCHA. Both boast superior luxe-textures, the highest quality ingredients, impressive efficacy, and they are both such a pleasure to use. I really love both lines immensely! I know that you have tried quite a lot from TATCHA– so maybe you will want to try a few more things from May Lindstrom. I will have at least one more May Lindstrom review coming before the Bag Event, and possibly more from TATCHA as well. I hope that this is helpful to you! :-)
