  1. This new gel serum really is a marvel for dehydrated, stressed skin. The texture in the jar is novel, but it is not gimmicky. It makes it very easy to control exactly how much of the "serum" I'm extracting without having to fiddle around with how much to pump. I'm sure we've all had that experience where one pump is not enough, but two pumps are too much, or when all we've needed is just a teeny-tiny bit of extra for around the eyes or lips. This gel formula takes all the guess work out of it and eliminates any waste. I scoop out the amount that works best for me with the little spoon that accompanies it and then spread it over my face, neck, and onto my chest. It liquifies instantly and bathes my skin in long-lasting, soothing moisture which I then seal in with my moisturizer.

When I ordered the full size, Tatcha thoughtfully sent me a travel size moisture cream with the personal directions to use the serum day and night followed by the moisturizer. My ordering history obviously revealed that I'm loyal to their indigo and dewey lines and so their extra little gift of moisturizer and the personalized instructions were spot on. Believe me, this gel serum has been a real game changer for my dry, sensitive skin. Since using the serum, I've even been able to brave those arid Santa Ana winds without my skin becoming chafed, stressed out, or having my mild rosacea flare up. As we age, our skin thins out and the natural barrier weakens so it doesn't hold onto moisture the way it did when we were younger. Tatcha's gel serum topped with a good, occlusive moisturizer has completely remedied that problem. And what better time to add a product like this to our regimen than during winter's dry months?

I haven't tried the eye serum yet but that's on my list of things to try :-)

    1. Hi Eileen, Your description is absolutely spot-on, as always! This really is such a novel, and highly effective product, without being in the least bit gimmicky! Everything about it is unmitigated perfection! Of course, given that this is a TATCHA creation, it is ultra elegant and a true joy to use.

Their customer service is exemplary, and I am not in the least bit surprised that they included sales that they knew you would love.

I definitely recommend trying their eye serum, I am certain that you will love it given your love of TATCHA! :-)

  3. My darling one, do you think I can make a post request? Can you make a compendium of all your eye creams as you did once with your oils?
Once again I'm in despair trying to find something for my under eyes which are cracking with dryness. I'm currently using oils under my eyes and nothing seems to fix the problem.
    Sending much light your way,

    1. Hello my sweet one! What a great idea. I will start milling around in my skincare stash and will start putting together a post once this quarter ends (we only have a few more weeks).

I hope that I can come up with a few choices that could help you find what you are in search of! How's teaching going?
      Sending you much love! xoxox

    1. I completely agree, Iris! Every luxury skincare company should do this because it is a brilliant way to gain new loyal customers who would never have made the full size purchase without having tried it first!
