Now that Autumn is officially upon us, there is no better time to stock up on a few new lip balms to prepare for the cooler season. I have loved and used Carmex for as long as I can remember, as have many of you, and am very pleased with their Moisture Plus Lip Balm formula. It has a light vanilla scent, an SPF 15, and a satin gloss finish. The formula is ultra-moisturizing, very emollient, and is extremely comfortable on the lips.
The slim slant tip applicator tip is the perfect size for fuss-free application, and there are currently four different limited edition designs from which to choose.

  4. The packaging on these is absolutely adorable! I used to have some tinted Carmex Moisture Plus Lip Balms and I LOVED them. They are so hard to find now though, I think they got discontinued which is a bummer.

  10. I haven't used anything from Carmex for quite a few years. I never liked the flavor of their things, even those that had a nice flavor was just not what I enjoyed... but I hear their formulation for that has changed some and I love the packaging so I'm certainly going to check it out.

    1. These definitely don't have the same pronounced camphor scent/flavor, but it's still there hidden right below the vanilla. If you had a visceral reaction to the scent of the original you may not like these either. Of course you could get one and give it to someone in your family if you don't like it.

  11. These are so cute! We only just go Carmex here, like last year (or so), so hopefully these don't take forever to show up in stores.
