Manuka Secrets Lip Lustre Pacific Paradise Purse Pal was created to moisturize, plump, smooth and soften lips as well as to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around he lips. Furthermore, Manuka Secrets asserts that the UMF18+ Manuka Honey that they use in this product protects lips against environmental damage.

Manuka Secrets Lip Lustre leaves my lips very soft, supple and hydrated, and imparts a slight glossy sheen. It coats lips perfectly in a single pass, and has a lovely emollience that makes it feel wonderful on dry lips. Manuka Secrets describes its scent and flavor as a light fresh citrus/ tangerine, but I would elaborate that it has a warm, rather than sharp, citrus scent and taste that I find particularly pleasant.

I have worn it lightly as a lipstick base and I have used it to top off my lipsticks as well, but it feels so good on the lips that I often find myself rubbing my lips together– which certainly doesn't encourage longevity in lipstick wear-time! I keep a tube in my purse and another one on my nightstand, and both are getting lots of use.

Overall Assessment: I really like this nourishing lip balm a lot! It feels great and it keeps my lips soft, supple and hydrated. I also like that it comes in a squeeze tube with a slanted applicator tip for ease of use.
