Japonesque BB/CC Cream Brush | Review

I'm a bit late to the party with respect to Japonesque products, but in this case it's definitely better late than never. I have been testing out a couple of their products, and have been oh so pleased with the results. The first of their products to thoroughly capture my attention is the Japonesque BB/CC Cream Brush, and this isn't even something that I thought that I needed! I most often just use my fingers to apply my BB and CC Creams, but this brush delivers an airbrushed finish that I am unable to achieve with my fingers. I have also tested it out with my favorite tinted moisturizers, and it does an exemplary job applying them as well!

It is a short and rather stout, yet well balanced, brush with a handle that boasts a satisfying girth. The ferrule is wide and tapered, and it terminates into a densely packed duo-fiber head. The wide dome-shaped brush picks up and deposits the perfect amount of product, and it blends and buffs it into a perfect airbrushed finish effortlessly.

After my initial washing and first use, I lost about 4 hairs, but it has not shed since then. I am very happy with the results that I get with this brush, and I highly recommend it to anyone who is a big fan of BB and CC Creams as well as tinted moisturizers.
According to Japonesque,

As a pioneer of the world's most exceptional make-up brushes Japonesque introduces the new BB/CC premium base brush. This ingenious professional mixed fiber brush is engineered with dual length bristles and a unique balance of natural and synthetic materials to deliver exquisite application and blending of BB and CC creams. The brush head is perfectly contoured and has a uniquely measured fiber density to roll and buff product over the skin for a glowing, hydrated and ultra-natural finish. Blends, blurs and diffuses cream over the skin in one simple application, creating the ultimate tool for achieving a feather-light nude skin look.
It measures 5 1/2" long making it a convenient size for your makeup bag and travel.
The bristles are densely packed, yet they are soft and fluffy to the touch.
Note the full densely packed brush head.

The sunlight really caught the luminosity of the BB Cream, and the brush blended it out to perfection.

    1. It really is, Kimmy! I have only tried this and their luminizer, but I am very impressed by the quality of both, and definitely want to try more of their products now! This brush is definitely worth having! :-)

  2. Thanks for the review! I can't seem to find anything that works better than my hands for bb/cc creams, which is only what I use as well. Although, the B.Blender is great, but it gives me too much coverage, like, I feel like it lays it on really thick. I don't like that. I need to try this brush! :)

    1. Absolutely my pleasure, Miki! Using my hards was always my favorite method of application as well, but I have to say that this brush works so well that I have been using it instead of my fingers because the finish is so lovely when I use it! Beauty Blenders definitely can give great opaque coverage. I do think that you would be very pleased with this brush. I am very happy with mine!
