Smashbox Be Legendary Lip Gloss in Rosette, Pink Lady, Azalea and Coraline | Review and Swatches

I have been a huge fan of lip gloss as long as I can remember, and while I have far more than any rational human needs– I tend to gravitate to the non-sticky, long-wearing glosses that are comfortable to wear. I have been meaning to try the Smashbox Be Legendary Lip Glosses since I have heard so many great things about them, and now I can add my voice to the chorus of voices who sings its praises.
The Smashbox Be Legendary Lip Gloss formula is non-sticky, comfortable on the lips, boasts the perfect amount of cushion, is long-wearing, and offers a breathtakingly beautiful glossy shine. It has a mild scent that resides somewhere between vanilla and Crème Brûlée, but it fades soon upon application.

According to Smashbox,

Saturated shades of gloss with mirror-smooth shine that's never sticky. Inspired by photo gels found on set, this gloss starts with a clear, hydrating base free of traditional heavy binders (meaning no stick-factor), then it's infused slowly with bold pigments (unlike most glosses that are over-processed in a rush). Just 1 swipe leaves a vibrant wash of gorgeous color since the pigments are left intact with the careful mixing process. Create the illusion of a plumper pout by dabbing a bit of extra gloss in the center!

    1. These are definitely worth trying– I suspect that you will like them very much. I don't have any from the older formula– so I don't know how they compare.

    1. They really are very lovely. I didn't notice them being moisturizing in any sort of pronounced way, but they most assuredly didn't dry out or irritate my lips. They are very comfortable to wear.

  5. I'm more of a lipstick person than a lipgloss person, but Rosette is so pretty, as also Coraline.
