BITE Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Madeira | Review and Swatches

Purchased by Me (Affiliate Links)

My obsession with all things BITE Beauty has truly taken hold, and with each new product that I try I find myself falling further and further down the rabbit hole. Additionally, I have a particular love of twist up lip crayon hybrid lip gloss/lipsticks, and therefore am absolutely smitten with Bite Beauty's High Pigment Pencils.
Bite Beauty High Pigment Pencil in Madeira, described as a nude pink, is what I would describe as a nude peachy pink. Nevertheless, it is a gorgeous nude that would make a stunning accompaniment to a sizzling and dramatic smoky eye, but is equally lovely with a simple and natural look.
According to Bite Beauty, their High Pigment Pencil is a long-lasting, matte lip color. I actually find that it has a slight sheen, rather than having a dull flat finish.

Made with a double-dose of premium micronized pigments, this lip pencil delivers a modern matte look. This lip color delivers super antioxidant resveratrol, which fights free radicals with potent long-term anti-aging benefits. Each lip pencil contains the amount of resveratrol found in five glasses of red wine.
Madeira, while a light shade, offers rich and consistent pigmentation. It applies smoothly, wears evenly and does not settle into lip lines. I find that it provides the perfect amount of cushion and is very comfortable on the lips. I neither find it particularly moisturizing, nor do I find it in the least bit drying. I get several hours of wear-time before needing to reapply.
