  2. Thank you my darling for such an amazing review. My skin is unhappy. Sadly, Mandy's rose elixir broke me up badly and I have white heads which I never have so I am depressed. Do I need this? Will it heal my skin? I need something to fix the pubescent state of my face right now.
how did you celebrate your blogoversary yesterday? I hope you are enjoying yourself, my gorgeous one because we certainly are.
    Many hugs to you,

    1. Hello my love! I wonder which ingredient(s) made your skin reactive to Mandy's Rose Elixir?! Use it on your neck and décolleté since it is unlikely that it will cause those areas any trouble. I wonder if it's too rich for your skin causing it to break out? I would definitely give your skin a break from trying new products and use some tried and true until your skin gets through this rough patch. If at all possible, I would try to get a sample of this oil to try before committing to purchasing a bottle. I don't think that it will cause your skin to react, but there is no way of knowing until you try it. Do you have a mask that you trust to draw out all of the whiteheads? That might really help!

My blogoversary also happens to be my husband's birthday-- so we celebrated his birthday last night!

Thank you for your kind words! I am definitely enjoying this blog, but mostly interacting with all of you! xoxoxox

    1. Hi Deborah,
You are so welcome1 I'm glad that you found the review thorough and informative. $80.00 is not inexpensive, but most luxury brands offer an ounce at North of $100.00- so African Botanics offers twice as much for less than half the price. So while not a small sum-- it ends up being far more economical than many. If you live near a Space NK you can get a sample to see if this is fir you! :-)

    1. Hi Kellie, Beauty oils are just amazing!!! This is a really good place to start-- and for the price point it's a really great value for the luxury market since you get 2 full ounces rather than the typical 1 oz. bottle-- and many start north of $100.00 for just 1 oz.! You can also get a sample if you live anywhere near a Space NK! If you look at the "Luxury Oils" tab at the top of the blog you will see that I have reviewed quite a few oils-- I'm pretty obsessed with them! :-)

  21. Wondering what, besides the scent, is the difference between this and the Neroli Infused one in this line? Thanks. I love the Neroli one I purchased at your recommendation.

    ReplyDelete

    1. Hi cpl100, The scent is actually about the same between them-- at least between my bottles.

Neroli Infused Marula Oil Ingredients: Sclerocarya Birrea (Marula) Seed Oil**, Citrus Aurantium (Neroli) Essential Oil, Fragrance* (Natural). *Consists of a 100% natural blend of essential oil constituents/isolates. **Certified Organic, cold-pressed and wild harvested.

Pure Marula Oil Ingredients: Ingredients: Sclerocarya Birrea (Marula) Seed Oil**, Fragrance* (Natural). *Consists of a 100% natural blend of essential oil constituents/isolates. **Certified Organic.

The basic difference is that Neroli oil found in the Neroli Infused Marula was chosen because it is super rich in Vitamin C which is a Collagen builder. It is also really effective at assisting in the release of toxins, and as such is great for getting rid of breakouts. African Botanics also states, "Produces noticeable rejuvenating results on all skin types. The effects of Neroli oil on emotional well-being can be compared to the nourishing, soothing, and revitalizing effects of Mediterranean sunshine. Carefully infused to aide in relaxation, stimulation, promote endorphins, clarity and self-healing."

I love both of these oils and switch back and forth between them. I really don't think that you can go wrong with either. :-)

  22. I have been using the Neroli one since I got it at Space NK as part of my purchase to qualify for the big bonus bag (in September I think). My skin really enjoys it and I really enjoyed it while on vacation this past month when several people thought I was 30 years younger than my age!

Wow, that's quite a ringing endorsement for the African Botanics oil! I'm going to share that with the owners of the company-- they will be gleeful! :-)
