Painted Earth makes so many truly amazing skincare and makeup products that one can easily spend hours on their website drooling over all of the beautiful things! Many of my very favorite products are from Painted Earth, and the more that I try the more that I love this company!

Their Mineral Eye Fusion Eyeshadows are silky smooth and beautifully pigmented little jewels that are so pleasurable to use. They are antioxidant rich and vitamin packed eye shadows that actually feel good on the eyes.

According to Painted Earth,

Baked mineral that highlight your eyes and make them shine like a superstar. A color collection that is truly an artists dream. Swirled with multi-tones to give you a glamorous look that is sure to stop traffic. Our eyeshadow duo is baked on a terra cotta disk for ultra rich, long-lasting application. Contains soothing Green Tea Extract, Jojoba Seed Oil and Vitamin E to deliver antioxidant properties.
Left to Right: Dolce Vita and Pink Fusion
I find that both Dolce Vita and Pink Fusion can be used as highlighters and blushes when applied with a light hand. These pigmented shadows are easily built-up to maximum opacity or sheered out for a light veil of color. They both possess the most beautiful ethereal sheen that is neither too flashy, nor too glittery. Instead, they offer the perfect amount of illuminating sheen.
Left to Right: Dolce Vita applied dry, Dolce Vita applied wet, Pink Fusion applied dry, and Pink Fusion applied wet.
Dolce Vita is a beautiful light peach kissed pink
Pink Fusion is a stunning complex marbled mid-tone pink
Whether applied to the eyes or face, I find that once applied they stay put all day. Of course your mileage may vary, and wearing an eye primer may prove useful for those among you with oily eye lids.
Ingredients: Mica, Sencite Mica, Jojoba (Simmondsia Chinesis) Seed Oil, Safflower ( Carthamus Tinctorius) Seed Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia Flower Extract, Thyme (Thymus Vulgaris) Extract, Green Tea (Camelia Sinesis) Extract, Vitamin E (Tocopheryl Acetate), Rosemary (Rosemarinus Officcails) Leaf Extract, Magnolia Bark (Magnolia Officinails) Extract.

Overall Assessment: These are so pretty! Believe it or not, I have been using both on my face rather than on my eyes lately because the effects are so lovely! It appears that they have sold out of Dolce Vita, but still have Pink Fusion available. They also have other shades available. The next on my list is Bronze Fusion-- it looks simply gorgeous, and I suspect that it would be breathtaking with their SuperWear Gel Liner in Baroque (reviewed here)! Painted Earth products are Cruelty-Free. Painted Earth is committed to bringing healthy and effective products to the marketplace, and they consistently rival the quality of their chemical-laden department store counterparts. 1. They definitely are beautiful colors- no question. Like you, I generally tend to avoid pink shadows on my eyes-- they don't tend to make my eyes look swollen, but I just don't really like pink shadows on me-- there are only a few that I have worn though. Now pink blushes, on the other hand, are my weakness! :-)
