  1. Darling Helen, these sound good! I use the creamery creek goat milk soaps. Have you heard of them? They have some lovely scents. I use their rose, jasmine and plumeria scented bars and they are amazing, in case you want to check them out. No soap really moisturizes my skin and I have tried many, but the creamery creek make my skin feel smooth and not dry. I am back to my body oils for moisturizing since my legs are already so cracked that they hurt :(

    1. I'm quite pleased with them! I have never tried anything from Creamery Creek, but I LOVE goat milk soaps-- so I will seek out the line! Rose, Jasmine and Plumeria?! How divine!!!! Since your legs are back to that painful cracking-- which most certainly has to be further exacerbated by the cold NYC air-- it seems that you might really benefit from layering a very very very rich cream over your body oil. You might even try something affordable that was made for the face (for very very dry skin)-- that might actually really do the trick (or at least give you some relief). :-( xoxox

    2. Let me know how do you like them if you try them. I absolutely recommend the jasmine one which smells soft and creamy :)

    3. I definitely will. I will put the Jasmine at the very top of my list! It will be a little while before I indulge since I have SO many soaps to use up first! :)

  2. Those sound great as both a body bar and a face care bar. I'll be on the lookout for them!

  3. The Boy is allergic to many things so he opts for translucent glycerin soap, the generic mango/pineapple/green apple/etc kind sold by drugstores. The soap bars inevitably become mushy and melt even though we shake off excess water and use a soap dish drainer after use. Do you think the Tom's Beauty Bars will hold up to our abuse?

    1. Well, neither you nor The Boy will experience the melty mushy issues that one experiences with glycerin soaps-- so the question is whether or not he is sensitive/allergic to any of the ingredients in these soaps. I would intuitively suggest looking into the Sensitive Skin Bar to gauge his success rate with these soaps. I have had no issues whatsoever, but my skin is not nearly as sensitive and reactive as his. I do think that you would like these, and you have had such good luck with many of their deodorants over the years that I think that it is a safe bet that you will like these. Let me know if you do try any of then, and what you think about them if you do! :D

    2. Will do as soon as the Boy works through *his* stash of glycerin soap. :) You've made my choice easy by posting full ingredient lists. Thank you again for doing this on all your posts. I don't see allergens in the three bars, but I'll go with the Sensitive one it doesn't contain "natural fragrance". I hope we don't run into trouble with the chamomile flower extract. Thanks, babe. :)

    3. Well, I know how important ingredients are-- especially when one has sensitivities and allergies. Hopefully the chamomile won't give him any trouble- while it is a pretty benign ingredient for many- there are people who are allergic to it. I he finds that he can't use it I'm pretty sure that you will enjoy it. <3
