According to SPA SONIC,

Pamper your skin with the Spa Sonic Skin Care System Face & body Polisher. The facial care system consists of different tools that can be used for making your skin smooth. It operates with four attachments: a big brush for the body, a small brush for the face, pumice for rough areas and a facial sponge for microdermabrasion. It helps in exfoliating, smoothing, and softening the skin. The Spa Sonic Skin Care system kit is perfect for people with different skin types as it is safe and is recommended by dermatologist. This water-proof device helps in reducing the size of the pores and also helps in diminishing fine line and dark spots so that you get clear and younger looking skin. Cleaning the skin with this kit also helps in removing dirt, oil or makeup from the pores and improves the texture.

  • While the Spa Sonic is often compared with the Clarisonic there is one major difference that should be noted: The Clarisonic utilizes sonic vibration with a non-rotating brush head, while the Spa Sonic has a rotating brush head. The Spa Sonic also has many more options because it is formulated as a face and body system that even includes a pumice stone for your feet.
The large brush is used for the body
The two small brushes are for the face
The Buffer pad is for the face
The pumice stone is for the feet
As a long-time devotee of the Clarisonic Classic, I have been accustomed to using a cleaning device only made for use on the face, but I have to say that the flexibility of the Spa Sonic is quite nice. I hopped in the shower and started by washing my face. I immediately liked how soft the bristles were, and it only took a second to adjust to the added control afforded by this smaller brush head. Because the brush-head is smaller than that of the Clarisonic, I am able to get into smaller areas of the face around the nose and between the eyebrows with far greater ease. The brush rotation is not too fast, and it requires no pressure to get a good thorough cleaning. I would definitely urge against pressing it into the skin because it is neither necessary, nor is it good for your skin to press it into the skin-- the brush is very good and really doesn't require your help. The end result is lusciously soft clean skin.

I have not yet tried the Facial Buffer attachment, but that's next on my list!

Then I moved onto the large brush to clean my body, and what a treat that was. I just added bath gel and let it do the rest. The end result was very soft skin! It removed lots of dead skin, and my lotion sunk in much quicker as a result!

The pumice stone attachment is awesome!! I made sure to wet the pumice stone and applied a bit of bath gel to my feet to give a bit of added slip, and it worked like a charm. My dry heels looked and felt so much better than before. I can only imagine what a difference this will make a few weeks from now. I would definitely caution against using this on dry feet because warm wet feet are softer and lend themselves to much easier exfoliation.

Overall assessment: I'm quite pleased with this set, and will enjoy using it on a regular basis.  The sale price also makes this a spectacular deal for Mother's Day, for Grads, or for yourself.

The Spa Sonic normally costs $64.99, but is currently on sale for $39.99 until May 18th, 2013 at Walgreens.com – that’s 40% off!

Spa Sonic is also available at Target.com, Costco.com and Drugstore.com.
