Soft Pink Armani Lips with Rouge D'Armani No.501 & Gloss D'Armani Pink No. 507: The Perfect Coupling!

According to Armani, the Rouge D'Armani Lipstick formula is an, "Exceptional long-wear formula results in up to 8 hours of intense color. Experience comfort and shine, without fading and feathering. Soft texture leaves lips feeling continuously hydrated. Lipstick packaged in an elegant black lacquered case with an exclusive magnetic closure. Sealed with a click. Redbook's "MVP" 2010 Award Winner." As I said in my previous review of Rouge D'Armani No. 103, this is is simply one of my very favorite lipstick formulas. It is comfortable, hydrating, and with the perfect amount of cushion.
According to Armani,  Gloss D'Armani is "more than a mere gloss… Concentrated high-definition color, fusing shine, comfort and lasting hold. Inspired by icons of the cinema, Giorgio Armani re-introduces glamour with Gloss d’Armani. Color-Fil Shine technology, with a translucent base that traps pigments and pearlescent particles for a hydrated, silky smooth feeling without any stickiness. Comfortable, stay-fast color is like a second skin that remains true for eight hours without fading or migrating." As previously stated in my Gloss D'Armani  No. 103 review, this formula has the perfect amount of cushion, is non-sticky, had a delectably smooth texture, and is very comfortable to wear.
While I madly love Rouge D'Armani No. 501 and Gloss D'Armani separately- I am over the moon about their perfect pairing! Individually they are each perfect neutral muted mid-tone pinks kissed by mauve. Together they are perfection with the perfect amount of depth and shine. They can easily be sheered out, and will build up a touch. Both are infinitely wearable day or night, and are positively office appropriate.
Left to Right: Rouge D'Armani No. 501, Gloss D'Armani Pink No. 507, Layered

Overall assessment: Truly, madly, deeply!
Gloss D'Armani $29.00 & Rouge D'Armani $32.00. I bought mine at Nordstrom.

  8. Oh.My.Goodness! I'm experiencing serious lip product envy right now. Both are gorgeous in the own right and just over the top stunning together! I was a a Guerlain counter for the first time yesterday (this may not be a good thing) & left wearing a gorgeous lipstick & gloss combo but realized when I got home that I don't know either color. DH was with me & was losing patience with being in the makeup dept so was hurrying. The SA was very sweet but chatty and slow in her application. Looking at swatches online to see if I can narrow down what it might have been. What I've learned is that Dillards has awful swatches online.

    1. Hi lov2read68!! These two are definitely among my favorites. I'm a really big fan of the Rouge D'Armani formula!! Wow, you are lucky that you even made it to a makeup counter with your husband in tow!! My husband has no patience for department store excursions. The closet that I can get him to the mall is a trip to the Apple store, or Target- if it happens to be in a mall. I hope that you can figure out what colors she put on you at the Guerlain counter. If you caught the name of the SA- then you might give her a call in the event that she remembers. She may have put a couple of her favorites on you-- in which case she will probably remember!! I don't know why so many department store websites still have such inaccurate swatches- they are often so far off the mark!

  9. Ooooh I NEED that Gloss d'Armani in 507--it's soo stunning! And of course, I go crazy over mauve ANYTHING, so done deal! Also loving that Rouge d'Armani...you know me: I don't really wear lipstick but this one is so shiny and looks so light and pretty and wearable. Together they are AHMAYZING! I MUST have this duo on my lips IMMEDIATELY!! :P

    1. They are both gorgeous, Becca. You should take a look at Rouge D'Armani 501-- because it sheers out quite a bit, and will remind you of our beloved Lip Mists. They also have the Rouge D'Armani Sheers-- and they are also luscious!!! There are many choices for girls like us who prefer glosses to pigmented lipsticks! :-)
