vbeauté Eye Never Nourishing Repair Eye Crème: Review

I have made no secret of the fact that finding a suitable eye cream has always been somewhat problematic for me. Rich creams, or those filled with occlusives the likes of Mineral Oil and Petrolatum tend to give me milia. Therefore, I have to carefully scrutinize eye cream ingredients before deciding whether or not to risk trying them. When I first perused the list of ingredients used in the vbeauté Eye Never Nourishing Repair Eye Crème, I was reasonably confident that it would not cause milia, but the true test was using it daily for 4-6 weeks that would give me conclusive evidence to either substantiate or refute my assumption. Thankfully, my assumption was correct! Having averted this potential problem (read: disaster), the next issue was whether or not it lived up to the claims made, and of course whether or not it did much for me, specifically.

This eye cream is designed to fight lines, reduce puffiness, reduce dark circles, deliver hydration, and to ostensibly function as an eye lift in a jar.  I don't have lots of pronounced lines, but my fine lines are visibly softened. Generally speaking I am prone to dark circles (a lovely genetic predisposition that I would happily live without), and I tend not to be prone to under eye puffiness. However, I am under an inordinate amount of stress at work these days (working long hours researching and writing and sleeping fewer hours than I'd like) that I find that I am having to deal with puffiness and dark circles-- a whole new low for me. I am also finding that I do need extra hydration in my delicate eye area because it is very cold right now (okay, I realize my definition of cold as a member of the rank and file in Southern California wildly differs from that experienced by those of you who live in climates with real seasons, but it is relative). So the real question is whether or not Eye Never is doing much to relieve my current eye woes, and whether I find this product to be a worthy contender in a world where so many eye creams flood the already over-saturated skincare market? The short answers are yes and yes. I have noticed a remarkable reduction in my dark circles which affords me the luxury of using less concealer so that at least I don't look like a zombie- even if I feel like one. On the unfortunate days when I awaken to the scary sight of under eye puffiness, I notice that this delightful attribute is greatly diminished by this eye cream. Eye Never sinks in quickly and gives my eye area the perfect amount of moisture and hydration to take me from morning to evening with no need to reapply.

It did not give me the much dreaded milia, and generally made my eyes look great, and even created the illusion that I was well-rested when I was far from it! 1. Have to say, this eye product impressed me. I wanted to make sure it was really doing something before I left a comment and indeed, it does. I've used 2 products for the past 2 years to give the results that this one product delivered. Not to mention, at $85, it's MUCH cheaper than the $350 I was spending. Yeah..... Thank you, Lola, for spotlighting this line; I would not have known about it save for you : ) Hugs!
