Le Métier de Beauté Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss in Uma Paro- Review & Swatches

Le Métier de Beauté Sheer Brilliance Lip Gloss is "luxuriously crafted to drench lips in a buildable veil of semi-transparent color that responds to the lip’s natural hue, giving everyone a custom shade all their own. Our unique ultra-light weight, hydrating formula is enriched with emollients and antioxidants including Vitamin E and Lanolin for beautiful, supple lips—does not dehydrate the lips like traditional glosses. Wear it alone for sheer brilliant shine or layered over your favorite lip color to magnify color and shine. Silky, easy glide application for non-tacky, longer-wearing color."
Uma Paro is one of 11 shades offered, and is most certainly one of the most beautiful colors in the range. It is the perfect vampy deep plum kissed with the perfect amount of purple. It is gorgeous all by itself, but is also known for adding striking depth to any lipstick that it graces with its presence. This is also the perfect vampy shade for lip gloss girls who are afraid of deep bold vampy lipsticks (Becca, my love-- you would love this!). It is perfectly on trend for the season, but as far as I'm concerned it's perfect all of the time!
It has the perfect amount of slip and cushion, and it feels gloriously moisturizing on the lips. It leaves my lips feeling soft and supple, and it's a stunner to boot!
I love the way that it glistens in the sunlight! The color is richly pigmented, and it can likewise be built up or sheered out. Therefore, if you fear a vampy lip- you needn't be fearful of Uma Paro.

Overall assessment: GAGAGAGAGORGEOUS! Must have shade for me. Thankfully this beautiful shade is a part of their permanent range-- because I will definitely be repurchasing it!!

$32.00 0.22 fl oz. where Le Métier de Beauté is sold.

    1. Hi Melody! Thanks for stopping by! It does build up a bit, but to get the depth that you are seeking I would definitely layer it on top of your favorite darker lipstick. 3. Every time they do Lisa's makeup they reach for this. It's so scary looking but as soon as it's put with another color it's gorgeous.

  8. The colour is just right for fall, great choice Lola. I kinda like that it is on the sheerer side, I think it would be great to layer on top of a purple based lipstick, to add the 'extra' something. BTW, I finally (!) got a Youngblood product, I ordered Tulip D:. Thank you Lola <3 / Claire

    1. Hi Claire! Yes- it is a perfect fall color, and the formula is so lovely too! I agree that it is perfect over a purple based lipstick! It definitely adds extra dimension to it! I LOVE TULIP!!! It's my favorite of the three-- I'm so curious to see what you think of it!! <3
