3. Choose 11 people to give this award to (with fewer than 200 followers) and link them in your post.
4. Go to their page and tell them.
5. Remember, no tag backs!

11 Facts about me
1. Dusk is my favorite time of the day.
2. A few years ago I sat alone for almost 2 hours looking at Leonardo da Vinci's Burlington House Cartoon in that small room in the Sainsbury Wing at the National Gallery, London. It was an unreal and transformative experience being able to soak it in without anyone else present. Time basically stopped.

  1. I've never been to Paris or London but can't wait to go both! Also lucky to have met Elie Wiesel! I was picked out of my class (in middle school) to have my letter sent to him. It was an assignment after we'd read Night.

  4. Congratulations on your Second Liebster Lola! :D
Oh no! Which 2 SR Stimulant Serums are being discontinued? I can't remember off the top of my head which sample number I have, but I was really liking it so much so far that I was planning to purchase it. Also I saw in your comments for your LMdB post that you had to return the SR Primer which kind of disappointed me because I have a bottle of it, but have yet to use it and now I'm thinking maybe I should return it :( Funny thing is I was actually going to start using the SR primer since now after 2 months of using LMdB Peau Vierge I find I do not like it. Unfortunately I have the full size bottle, but can't return it now because I bought it during a GWP event :( Grr, wish I knew in advance that Nordstrom was gonna have that nice set for a great value! Lol
Looking forward to your reviews on your LMdB goodies :)

  6. Wow, reformulating the skincare line? That sounds terrible considering I've read mostly glowing reviews of her skincare line and I have been loving the samples I received plus the Ceramic Slip cleanser I purchased. I hope they won't be reformulating the Cleanser! Maybe I should buy another bottle in case they do? Haha, I can't believe how bummed out I am to read this. I will definitely check to see if my SR primer is defective, if so I will return it. Anyways I was planning to make an exchange for some SR skincare and return the SR mascara, but don't think I'll be able to at Barneys. It says on the back of the receipt it must be returned within 30 days or does that not apply to cosmetics? I do like the mascara as it doesn't smudge or flake off, but I don't like how it weighs down my lashes. It takes the curl out of my lashes :(
As for what I do not like about the LMdB Peau Vierge is what your not crazy about! Lol, I find it too darn shimmery on me which I don't like plus it feels heavy to me. I know some may say thin it out, but trust me I practically buff it in with a foundation brush, but then that defeats the purpose of the SPF coverage and for that, I do not find it worth the price. As well it's still too shimmery for all over the face. Yes I could exchange it for something else, but to be honest, I fell in love with LMdB fast and hard few months ago and now end of July I hate it! I don't want to buy anything else from that line. Okay maybe I shouldn't say hate, because I still do love the eye pencil in Champagne & the one Kaleidoscope I had debated to keep since giving away all my other eyeshadows that were not Burberry, but figured it unique enough that I kept it. Other than those 2 items, nothing of that dollar amount interest me in the line to make an exchange :( I had purchased one of their lipsticks and when I received it I thought I got a bad one. The lipstick was wobbly at the base and looked like it was going to break so I went ahead and exchanged it. Well the same thing happen to the second and third one I got so I said forget it not worth the money and I've read on some other blogs the same complaint. Maybe they have improved, hope you don't have that problem with the ones you bought ;) Also I did try some of their lip glosses, the colors are gorgeous, but didn't like the feel of them on my lips and wasn't too fond of the scent- again not worth the money to me. Especially now, thanks to your blog, I rather spend my money on RBR lipsticks and glosses, also still loving my SR lipgloss ;) At this point with LMdB I'm afraid if I try something else from them I'm just going to end up not liking it and wanting to return it which is something I don't like to do. I really do hate to return things. So much that I have my sister do all my returns! Lol, I know that's crazy, but I feel sooo ashamed to return something that I feel compelled to have to have to buy something else! I have zero will power to say no when they ask if I would like to make an exchange when I really don't want to :/ I don't know what's my problem or where it comes from!?! *blush* Although of course I have no problem returning something when I know I WANT to make an exchange as is the case with the SR products ;)

  7. Yes I'm hoping they will allow me to exchange it for the Ceramic Slip, along with some other SR products, wish me luck! :)
Unfortunately I purchased my LMdB Peau Vierge at Neiman's where they do not carry Burberry Beauty :'( That's a shame about what happen to your lipstick, but I firmly believe it's not you, it's LMdB! Lol...oh I forgot to mention I do have a few LMdB nail polishes and those I do like, but not to the point I'd buy $125 worth! I guess I was ticked off with the lipsticks and with all the Kaleidoscopes they were releasing one after another that had lots of dupes that got me disliking this brand so quickly and to top it off, I'm stuck with $125 of something I can't return! Plus my growing love affair with RBR didn't help either! Lol...Although I will still look forward to your post on LMdB as I really appreciate your thorough and honest reviews.
    Thanks again Lola!
    xoxo Naomi
PS Love the pics of little no name with Delilah! And with the kitties too! Too cute, keep them coming! Always cheers me up :)

    1. You shouldn't need any luck- you payed a premium and the product did exactly the opposite of what it should have done! Plus you are spending more money on the Ceramic Slip alone!!

Oh- Neiman's- I somehow assumed it was at Nordstrom-- I'm not sure why I assumed that!! Yes, the lipstick malfunction was a real bummer-- I mean I literally opened it for the first time and it shot out of the tube like a canon ball-- I have to say I have never had anything like that happen before!! That really bums me out that you are stuck with Peau Vierge!! I think that I'm not going to get myself sucked into the whole Kaleidoscope frenzy. Too many LE things that are only offered at this particular Neiman Marcus etc. I love my RBR eye shadows, and am still planning on going and checking out Burberry eye shadows based on your rave reviews and unmitigated love! I'm going to get a feel for LMdB through all of the lip products that I bought-- so far I'm really liking the lip cremes and lip glosses-- so we will see if the line works for me. I also bought that one Chantecaille eye shadow and lip gloss and am very pleased with both. That said, I have to use some self-restraint since I am not made of money, and I already have way more makeup than I could possibly use up in a lifetime on a single little face!!

I'm so happy that the animal pictures cheer you up-- little no name is a real source of amusement!! I will definitely get some more pictures up soon!

    2. Hey good news! Thought I let you know I am no longer stuck with the LMdB PV! Phew! I feel so relieved! Lol...they took it back with no questions asked! They were so nice and pleasant. Also I was able to exchange the SR mascara for the cleanser with no problems as well :)
Ooo, if you do get a chance to check out Burberry eye shadows in person, make sure you get some samples of their Fresh Glow. It gives the skin a nice dewy glow, but without any heavy shimmer ;)
      xo Naomi
PS Zeus the Strange is too funny & adorable!

    3. I am so glad that you made the PV return, Naomi. It actually really bothered me that you were going to be stuck with something that you spent so much money an and were so unhappy with. I'm not surprised that you weren't given grief for either return-- it doesn't behoove them to hassle you- particularly when you are a good customer. I'm glad that you got what you wanted! Fresh Glow-- I just put it on my list of things to check out. Speaking of Burberry-- I thought of you because the Harrod's website has pictures that are supposed to be true to color of two of the new individual eye shadows and lipsticks-- I believe from the Fall collection- the shadows are GORGEOUS!!! Zeus is definitely funny and adorable. He's a really one of the strangest cats I have ever known!!

  8. LOLA! Thank you so much for thinking of me and my little ol' blog when doing this. >.< I love your blog and it's great to know more about the person behind it. I must say, not only do we both have similar taste in brands/makeup but we both also have curly hair. =P You def. need to recommend some of your hair favorites!

I can't wait to do the questions. Thank you so much once again! <333

    1. You are so welcome, Maria!! You deserve this award and many more!! Your blog is spectacular-- I mean truly spectacular, and I love our interactions! We do indeed have the same tastes in makeup, and naturally curly hair too!!! Right now I am between favorites for haircare-- I am hair product fickle!! I just finished up some wonderful Oribe products, and while I loved them I want to try something different. As you know- curly hair is difficult and quirky and prone to drying out-- so I am on the hunt for something new to try. You will have to let me know what you have been using as well! I look forward to getting to know you better! xoxo

    1. You are so very welcome, Mafi! Meeting Elie Wiesel was one of those life changing events that I will carry with me for the rest of my life. He was giving a university lecture that I attended, and I spoke with him at some length afterward. IT was truly extraordinary to be in the presence of such greatness!! He was gracious, humble and so dignified. He is such an accomplished intellectual, but his gift as a storyteller is also unparalleled!! He also signed my copy of Night-- which is one of my most treasured possessions. It serves as a reminder of the triumph of the human spirit in the face of some of the darkest moments in human history.
