And Now for Something Completely Different...

Zeus is quite possibly the strangest cat that I have ever known- let alone lived with. He's not very catlike in so many ways, but he always makes us laugh. He prefers contorted positions to normal ones, and likes to sit up and watch TV like a person.

  1. How adorable! How hilarious! I love kitty photos. Some of my favorite are of Mr. Bear from a Model Recommends, based in England. Sad to say, I prefer the photos of her kitten to the fashion posts; I'm too old to wear her cute clothes! I really do enjoy your posts about makeup. The best makeup posts are honest about the quality of the products! Thanks,
    Shelley

    1. Hi Shelley! Thanks for stopping by! Zeus is definitely a funny kitty-- he's quite a character, in fact. He seems to prefer sitting like a person than like a cat-- this pose is "normal" for him!

Thanks for saying such nice things about my blog-- that means a lot to me! :-)

    1. Hi Marcia! Oh, kitties are so much fun to live with. Zeus is a good boy- even though he's one seriously odd duck! Maybe there is a white kitten in your future.

  3. Zeus is a cute kitty and reminds me of my cat esp. the contorted position she can get in as well :D

    1. Hi mafi- Aren't the crazy contorted positions hysterical? Doesn't sometimes feel like they are performers in Cirque de Soleil?

  4. Coffee spew!! Hannibal is looking over shoulder with complete jealousy. Mr. Wenskins, on the other hand, is taking notes. He's half Himmy half Ragdoll (flopsy), and am certain I just heard him run off in search for a rubber gag ball.

    1. Muahahahahahhaha! I have a deeply demented cat- should have named him Hannibal instead of Zeus! I'm sure your Hannibal is normal by comparison! You do not want Mr. Wenskins emulating anything that Zeus does!!! Zeus is a degenerate, and would quite possibly be a sociopath if he were human. So let's all be happy that he's feline! I've seen pictures of a few of your kitties, and they are gorgeous!

    2. Mr. Wenskins is, indeed, beautiful and D U M B. His blue eyes pinwheel in his head when he looks at you, and you can almost see those brain synapses sputtering. Hannibal, on the other hand, is a complete sociopath. He's Joe Pesci in Casino. Here's what he said last night:

Listen to me, Zuzu. I got your head in a effin' vise. I'll squash your head like a effin' grapefruit if you don't give me my num-nums. Don't make me have to do this, please. Don't make me be a bad guy, come on.

      Totally.

    3. Talk about coffee spew!! H I L A R I O U S!! Ok, well at least Hannibal has a bit of a conscience left- since he really doesn't want to have to hurt you!!. Zeus, on the other hand, is Michael Madsen in Reservoir Dogs meets Malcolm Mc Dowell in A Clockwork Orange-- with a splash of Malcolm Mc Dowell in Caligula. He's a full fledged nut job, but also a hedonist. As sweet as he can be- he is equal parts deranged.

    4. Yeah? I'll take your Madsen and raise you a Manson! Hannibal pees in the tub. WHEN I AM PEEING! It's some weird, kitty solidarity thing, I guess.
