Kai Perfume Oil- Review

I am COMPLETELY obsessed with Kai products. I have their Body Buffer (reviewed here), and just can't say enough good things about this wonderful product- it has an intoxicating smell that lingers even after I'm done showering. My sister has most, if not all, of their products and I indulge in her stash each time I visit her.

My favorite product is the perfume oil, and I'm pleased to say that Barneys included a sample in their most recent Bag Event. I used up every single drop, and I mean every single drop. I turned the vial upside down and even used a Q-Tip to rescue the last bits. Needless to say, I'm picking up the full-size bottle on my next trip to Barneys.

Kai's intoxicating perfume oil fragrance is a blend of fresh gardenias and white exotic flowers made with essential oils in a convenient and easy to use roll-on vial.

Kai is a fresh, clean, and sexy smelling floral. The blend of gardenias and white exotic flowers strikes the perfect balance, and the white flowers offset any sharpness that gardenia can have on its own. The scent lingers throughout the day and is so lovely that I can't stop smelling my wrist all of the time while wearing it. This is my absolute favorite scent these days, and I can't really see that changing!

Kai products are paraben, sulfate, phthalate free, cruelty free, and are not tested on animals. The packaging is recyclable. Made in the USA.

Overall assessment: I'm completely obsessed with this perfume oil!

1/8 oz. $52.00 from Nordstrom (Affiliate links).

    1. Me too!!!!!!!!!!!! It's so yummy! I drool over my sister's stash-she was given a gift basket of everything kai makes! I'm definitely picking this up on my next Barney's trip. Plus kai just came out with a deodorant-- I think I will have to get that as well!

I've been obsessed with oils for a while myself-- it's just such a nice way to wear fragrance. I haven't tried any of the oils by Kiehls-- oh they have a gardenia?!!!!!!!!!! I'm definitely going to check it out!! Did you have a nice time in NYC?

  4. I saw this in my friend's handbag on a night out and smelt it, and it was definitely a hit for me. Very clean-smelling, loaded with gardenia and long-lasting. A really lovely scent.

There's just something about it that's so lovely-- it's not overpowering either. I actually just bought kai's brand new deodorant and posted the review. It's awesome!!

  5. I will assume that it is oil based. How long does the scent lasts?

    1. It is perfume oil. I notice that the scent lingers all day long on me. I dab it behind my ears, on my neck, and on my wrists- and I seldom need to reapply it. It's really a lovely scent!
