Kai Deodorant- My Newest Obsession! Review

As you know by now, I am completely obsessed with Kai products. I'm crazy about the Kai Body Buffer (reviewed here) and the Kai Perfume Oil (reviewed here)- there is just something so intoxicating about the fragrance. The lingering scent of fresh gardenias and exotic white flowers has captured my heart and I just can't seem to get myself to wear any other fragrance.

The newest addition Kai's growing repertoire  of outstanding products is a deodorant with the signature scent. Are you kidding me, Kai-- you read my mind!!! I ran right out and grabbed one, and it does not disappoint!

Here's what Kai has to say about their new deodorant:
"Our translucent formula combines vitamin e, chamomile, and plant extracts with natural skin conditioning sugars to control moisture and keep you feeling dry, fresh and subtly kai-scented throughout the day. aluminum free and great for sensitive skin."

My experience: My skin can be somewhat sensitive, and I am very pleased to say that I experienced no irritation from this deodorant whatsoever. This deodorant is as effective as it is lovely smelling, but is not overpowering in the least. The clear formula does not stain clothes, but does leave clothing smelling fresh and clean.

Ingredients: butylene glycol, glycerin, water, sodium stearate, hamamelis virginiana L (plant extract), ceteareth-20, peg-40 hydrogenated castor oil, fragrance, peg-12, dimethicone, phenoxyethanol, tocopherol acetate (vitamin E), bisabolol (essential oil of chamomile), propylene glycol.

Kai products are paraben, sulfate, phthalate free, cruelty free, and are not tested on animals. The packaging is recyclable. Made in the USA.

Overall assessment: I'm so happy that Kai is now making this yummy deodorant. It's true love! This is my absolute favorite deodorant by far.

    1. It's sooooo yummy, Jackie!! No irritation so far-- knock on wood! I will let you know if things change and I start to react to it, but so far so good! It just smells divine! It's toned down a bit from the perfume oil- which is probably a good thing for that delicate skin. The body butter is also insanely nice. I don't have it, but I use it every time I go to my sister's. In fact I layer all of her kai products, and the last time I did she made fun of me because I guess I got a bit carried away and smelled a bit like a kai explosion-LOL!

    1. I have been really happy with this deodorant, and it smells divine. It does, however, contain propylene glycol and since you are sensitive to that ingredient I'm surprised that you would have been willing to try this product. I love their perfume oil and body buter as well-- those are definitely next on my list of kai products to buy!
