Deborah Lippman's Across the Universe isn't the type of nail polish shade that I would likely buy for myself- not because I don't like it, but instead because I never really got into the whole glitter nail polish trend. That said, I'm super happy that I have it-- it's G O R G E U O S!
Across the Universe is described as a "blazing blue and metallic green glam in sheerest navy (glitter)." That pretty much describes it perfectly!
I received my generous full size bottle in my Barneys Gift Bag during their February Bag Event last month, and I have to say that I actually really love this color. I just stared at it for a while and then finally decided to use it, and rather than painting my fingernails I painted my toes instead-- the colors are so whimsical and fun. Looking down at my blue green glittery toes just makes me smile!
Deborah Lippmann products are not tested on animals. They also do not contain toluene, formaldehyde, or DBP.
Overall assessment: Super fun nail polish! I love that it has fewer chemicals, and that the company does not animal test.
